Merino wool isn't just pleasant to wear, it also doesn't itch and has antibacterial properties. That makes it ideal for children who suffer from eczema or sensitive skin.
Another benefit of merino wool is its self-cleaning ability, which means frequent washing isn't necessary. Simply airing it outside is often enough. If the beanie does need a wash, this should be done gently by hand with lukewarm water (max 30°). Use a special wool detergent for this.
