Wooden Story wooden toys for babies + toddlers
Wooden Story is a family workshop in the Polish mountains. It was founded in 1969 and is still run by the family today. The toys are made from wood from FSC-certified sources and finished with natural oils, beeswax and eco-certified paints. Many models come in several colour worlds: Natural in wood colour, Warm, Cold and Rainbow.
Blocks in a tray or in a sack
The blocks come in two kinds of storage. In a tray, there are the Natural blocks in Tray with 54 pieces and the Warm and Cold blocks in Tray with 30 pieces each. In a sack, there are the Natural blocks in sack and the Rainbow blocks In Sack with 100 pieces each, plus the Rainbow blocks In Sack XL with 30 pieces. The tray keeps the shelf tidy, while the sack is easy to take along.
Stacking, sorting, hammering
For first stacking, try the Natural Stacking Tower and its Warm and Cold versions, as well as the square and round pyramids, each in Natural or Rainbow. The Stacking toys Stick Fig No.01 and No.04 and the Modern Stacking Toy Y call for a little more skill. With the Rainbow shape sorter box, the Natural shape puzzle board and the Rainbow pound-a-peg, children practise recognising shapes and hammering with aim. For the youngest there are the rattles Lark, Nighthawk and Turtle Dove, and for pushing around the Bus and the Little French car.
