Timberix wooden building blocks in beech
Timberix is a construction system made from untreated beech wood and manufactured in Germany. It is built around three basic elements: Brixis, Twister and Timber Bricks. The pieces connect freely and can also be combined with blocks or play figures you already own; there are no fixed building instructions.
Which set is right for you?
The START sets are designed for beginners. START 40 contains 8 Brixis, 8 Twister and 24 Timber Bricks, and START 80 doubles that. START 140, with 24 Brixis, 20 Twister and 96 Timber Bricks, offers enough material for larger builds or several children. The PLUS sets (PLUS 20 and PLUS 50) contain only Brixis and Twister and add extra connections to an existing set. WHEELS 4, two axles with two wheels each, turns your builds into vehicles.
Open-ended play instead of a template
Because Timberix doesn't dictate a solution, it grows with your child: younger children stack and slot pieces together, older ones plan towers, bridges or entire towns. Our guide to open-ended play explains why this kind of free building is so valuable. You'll find more systems among our wooden building blocks and wooden construction kits.
