Connetix magnetic tiles: packs, ball runs + sets at a glance

Connetix makes magnetic building tiles that click together into flat patterns, cubes, towers and ball runs. The packs are compatible with one another, so a collection can grow step by step. At Littlies + mums you will find around 20 sets from the brand.

Which pack to start with?

To begin with, the Starter Pack Pastel with 64 pieces or the Mini Pack Pastel with 32 pieces are a good choice. The Travel Mini Pack with 32 pieces is designed for journeys. For several children or big projects there is the Creative Pack Pastel with 120 and the Mega Pack Pastel with 202 pieces. From what age magnetic tiles make sense and what to look out for is covered in our guide magnetic tiles: from what age?.

Ball runs, themes and expansions

With the Ball Run Pack Pastel (106 pieces), the Ball Run Galaxy Pack and the Ball Run Launcher Pack, children build their own marble runs, and the Ball Run Expansion Pastel extends them. Our post on the Ball Run Pack in pastel shows what this looks like in practice. Themed sets such as the Glitter Unicorn Pack, the Glitter Castle Pack, the Transport Pack or the Creative Roads Pack bring glitter, vehicles and roads into play. Add-ons such as the Base Plate Clear, the Clear Rectangle Pack, the Ramps + Intersections Pack and the Portal Packs in Pastel or Bright expand existing collections. For older children there is the PRO Constructor Set with 70 pieces.

Find out more about colours and play ideas in our Connetix guide. Marble runs made from other materials are under marble runs.
