Tying a baby wrap: easier than you think

Stretchy baby wraps have one big advantage: they're tied once in advance, and after that the baby can be taken in and out as often as you like without re-tying. After two or three practice rounds, the technique sits, and many parents soon tie the wrap blind. What matters is the ergonomic spread-squat position: the baby sits like a little M in the wrap, knees higher than the bottom.

Ideal for the first months

Newborns especially love the close, even embrace of the wrap – it recalls the time in the womb. The soft fabric adapts to every body shape and distributes the weight pleasantly across the carrier's back and shoulders.

You'll find an overview of all carrying solutions under Carrying aids, and hip carriers suit bigger children.

Feeling closeness while keeping your hands free: the baby wrap makes exactly that possible, from day one.
