Latex or silicone, and which size?

Natural latex is especially soft and elastic, while silicone is taste-neutral, shape-stable and longer-lasting – many babies develop clear preferences, and often only trying helps. For the size, go by your baby's age: the manufacturer's information on the packaging shows when it's time to move to the next stage.

Safety + hygiene
