Buy children's puzzles online: wooden puzzles + picture puzzles
This collection holds around 30 puzzles and puzzle games. Most of them come from Londji in Barcelona, joined by wooden puzzles from Wooden Story and a puzzle box from LIEWOOD. The range goes from a first shape puzzle to a picture with 70 pieces.
First wooden puzzles
For the youngest, large pieces that are easy to grasp matter most. The Natural shape puzzle board and the Rainbow shape sorter box from Wooden Story are wooden inset and sorting puzzles: recognise shapes, match them and take them out again. From LIEWOOD comes the LUCINDA All together puzzle box in the colour Sandy.
Which puzzle for which age?
With Londji, the number of pieces grows with your child. The 10 Penguins Puzzle starts with 2 pieces and ends with 10, and Dans L'Igloo has four puzzles of 9 to 20 pieces plus magic glasses, from age 3. Tiny Puzzles such as Pommier, Ocean or Planets and Pocket Puzzles such as Discover the World are small enough for days out. For nursery and school children there are larger pictures such as Animal Planet with 70 pieces, Age of Dinosaurs or The Mysterious Case of the Birthday Puzzle. Our guide toys by age shows what suits which stage.
Tips for puzzling with children
Start with too few pieces rather than too many and build up slowly. Cardboard puzzles stay nice longest when stored dry and kept in their box. If your child then wants rules and other players, you will find memory games and dominoes among our board games.
