Materials by season
Cotton works all year round and is easy to care for. Merino wool helps regulate temperature, which is why it is popular in autumn and winter, including as a thin base layer under jumpers and jackets. For babies in their first year, bodysuits and trousers with a soft waistband are practical because they make nappy changes easier. Which size should I buy? Many brands state sizes in centimetres, such as 50, 56, 62 and so on, while others use age in months. Our size chart by age helps you convert.
How do I care for woollens? Wool rarely needs washing, often airing is enough. Otherwise wash it on the wool cycle with wool detergent and dry it flat.
Can I combine pieces from different brands? Yes, many of our brands work with calm earthy tones and muted colours. That way tops, trousers and tights go well together.
