Anyone who has ever tried to put shoes on a wriggling baby knows the problem. The Blue Pop booties solve it with a snap button: the shoe is opened, laid around the foot and closed – no pulling over the heel, no struggle.
Elastic heel band for a secure hold
An elastic band runs around the heel and sits above the ankle. It keeps the shoe on the foot even when your child kicks or crawls – and saves you searching for the lost second bootie under the pram.
Flexible for growing feet
The soft, flexible fit gives the toes room and does not restrict natural foot development – important in the first years, when the foot is still growing fast and is easily shaped. The sizes are additionally given in centimetres: Newborn corresponds to 9 cm, 3 months to 10 cm and 6 months to 11.5 cm.
Cotton for warm days
The cotton models are made of 100% cotton inside and out. That makes them lighter and airier than the fleece-lined winter versions – ideal for spring and summer, when socks are too warm and bare feet too slippery. Blue Pop belongs to the limited «Color Pop Remix» series and is only available in small numbers.
Where the Blue Pop reach their limit
The Blue Pop are a model for the first twelve months – for the time when your child is carried, lies down and crawls. As soon as it pulls up and starts walking, it needs a non-slip sole. That is what the Gripper models offer; more on this in our portrait of Kings & Rebels. And when the foot needs even more structure, proper leather shoes follow, such as those by Petit Nord.

Which size fits my baby?
Measure the sole from the heel to the longest toe and compare it with the centimetre indication. Newborn stands for 9 cm, 3 months for 10 cm and 6 months for 11.5 cm – more reliable than age, because baby feet grow very differently.
Are the Blue Pop also available with a non-slip sole?
No, Blue Pop exists as Cotton Original for 0 to 12 months. If you are looking for an anti-slip sole for the first steps, choose the Gripper models in other colours.
Are cotton booties also suitable for winter?
Indoors yes, outdoors rather not. For cold days the fleece-lined models are intended; the cotton version is deliberately kept light.
How long will the Blue Pop colour be available?
Blue Pop is part of the limited «Color Pop Remix» series and is not permanently reproduced. Once a size is sold out, it usually does not come back.
