Two gondolas, one cord: the haul cord connects both cars to each other. Turn the wheel and one gondola comes up while the other goes down. Put a building block or a stone into the upper gondola as a weight and it travels down on its own, pulling the lighter one up. Physics you can touch, with no explanation needed.
Two clamps for fixing it to a table edge or shelf are included in the kit.
Kraul is a family business from Icking near Munich. Walter Kraul, originally a Waldorf teacher, developed the first cable cars and water wheels for his own children. Production still takes place in Germany, using native timbers.
