Kraul cable cars + wooden kits: technology to build yourself
Walter Kraul was a Waldorf teacher in Munich when he built his first cable cars and water wheels: toys that let children try out technology for themselves. The family business still produces in Icking near Munich, together with workshops for people with disabilities. It uses local woods, and many products carry the «spiel gut» seal.
Cable cars in three sizes
Cable cars are the focus of our range. The Mini-Seilbahn with 5 m of cord comes with one car, or with two cars and a station for a shuttle service. The Körbchenseilbahn is a basic kit with two baskets and 10 m of cord, with a matching support and pulley. The Grosse Seilbahn with a doll gondola and the Grosse Pendelseilbahn with a mountain station can be extended with a winch and support. There is also the Seilflitzer with 10 m of cord.
For older tinkerers
