Collection: THERMAL WEAR

The onion principle: how children stay warm outside

Instead of one thick layer, several thin ones warm best. As a base directly on the skin, wool-silk is ideal – it regulates temperature and wicks moisture away. On top comes a warming middle layer of wool fleece or merino, and in wind and wet, a weatherproof outer layer on top. That way, the outfit can be adapted to temperature and activity at any time.

Why wool works so well

Wool warms even when slightly damp, doesn't chill and rarely needs washing – airing is usually enough. For children who are really active outside, that's unbeatably practical.

As an outer layer, our rainwear is recommended, and you'll find cosy one-pieces under All-in-ones.

Equipped like this, forest playgroup, sledging afternoon and winter walk are no problem – wrapped up warm, playing is simply at its best.
