Learning games for nursery and primary school

Learning works best when it does not feel like learning. That is exactly the idea here: games and cards children can use on their own - no screen, no score, nobody sitting next to them to correct. Many of the games have built-in self-checking, so your child notices straight away whether the answer is right.

For the youngest it starts with matching pictures, colours, shapes and shadows. Letters, first reading, addition and the times tables follow later. Because the card sets can be bought individually, the same base unit stays in use for years - you simply add whatever is next.

For the start of school it is also worth looking at Back to School. If you prefer playing together at the table, you will find the right titles among the board games, and if you like wood, in our wooden toys.
