Shorts for hot days: light, robust, uncomplicated
On hot days, every gram of fabric counts: airy shorts made from muslin or light jersey keep little legs cool and dry quickly after splashing at the fountain. For climbing and romping at the playground, more robust qualities are suitable, easily coping with frequent washing.
Summer tip
With shorts, remember sun protection for bare legs, especially between eleven and three o'clock. Elastic waistbands without buttons also make little children independent at dressing more quickly – a plus for nursery mornings.
