HVID merino hats, blankets + vests in Switzerland
HVID from Belgium knits with 100 % extra-fine Italian merino wool that is Öko-Tex certified and mulesing-free. Everything is made in a small family workshop. The range goes from newborn hats to vests for adults.
Hats, scarves and gloves
The classic is the Beanie Fonzie: as a Newborn Beanie for 0 to 6 months, for 4 to 18 months, 2 to 5 and 6 to 10 years, and in an adult size. That way mum and child can wear the same hat, in colours such as Oat, Sand, Powder, Artichoke or Light Yellow. It pairs well with the Gigi scarf, the Josephina triangle scarf, gloves and balaclavas for cold days. You will find more styles under hats + headwear.
Vests, booties and soft toys
The Kids Vest Harvey is a seamlessly knitted tank top in ages 2, 4 and 6, also in two-tone versions such as Cream + Red. For adults there is the Adult Vest Helle. The booties in colours such as Terracotta, Lilac or Cream + Grass keep little feet warm, and Teddy Tokki is there for cuddles.
Blankets for the pram and cot
The Kiki, Ivy, Gaston and Dora merino knitted blankets and the Cocoon baby blanket keep your baby company in the pram, in the cot or on the sofa. Merino wool keeps warm and regulates temperature. Care
Merino wool is largely self-cleaning, and airing is usually enough. If it needs washing, wash by hand at no more than 20 °C with wool detergent, do not wring, then dry flat. Read more in our article HVID: merino knitwear for newborns and children.
