Muslin squares, fitted sheets + baby blankets for the cot

In the cot, what matters most is what gets used every day and washed often. That is why muslin squares make up most of this category, alongside fitted sheets, a changing mat and reversible blankets. Brands include Mushie, Dear April, Leevje, Organic Zoo, Studio Noos and Engel.

Muslin squares: which size for what?

The sizes differ considerably. A 70 x 70 cm muslin fits in any changing bag and works as a burp cloth, bib or small mat. Large 120 x 120 cm squares are good for swaddling, as a light blanket in summer or as a cover while breastfeeding. Sheets, mats + blankets

With a fitted sheet, the mattress size decides. The Grow fitted sheet measures 90 x 200 cm, so it fits a larger children's bed rather than a small crib; measure the mattress before you buy. The 60 x 100 cm changing mat can also be used as a mattress protector.
