The reversible day blanket
The large day blanket measures 180 × 220 cm and is made of three-layer muslin in 100% organic cotton. One side shows leopard print, the other a calm cappuccino – reversible depending on your mood. Muslin gets softer with every wash, and the fringes on two sides make the blanket look good as a sofa throw too.
The oversized hoodie
The oversized hoodie «peace» in soft green is made of 94% organic cotton and 6% elastane, brushed and soft. A discreet peace embroidery on the chest, «Stronger Together» on the sleeve, kangaroo pocket. Available in 86/92 to 110/116 – worth knowing: it runs wide, the double size 98/104 fits more like a 104.
The flannel blouse
The flannel blouse in beige and lavender in 100% organic cotton has a full button placket – which makes dressing considerably easier, especially with small children who do not like anything pulled over their head. Add to that a small ruffled collar and a patch chest pocket. Sizes 74/80 to 110/116, regular fit.
The jersey leggings as a base
The blouse pairs with the jersey leggings in green stripes in 100% organic cotton. Interlock jersey is knitted more densely than ordinary jersey, does not curl at the hems and withstands daily dressing and undressing. Care and durability
Leevje produces fairly in Portugal and recommends washing the pieces at 30 °C and as cool as possible – that protects fibres and colours and noticeably extends their life. How do the sizes run?
Differently, and that is the key point with this brand: the oversized hoodie deliberately runs wide – the double size 98/104 fits more like a 104. The flannel blouse and the leggings, by contrast, have a regular fit; here you choose your child's usual size.
What do double sizes like 98/104 mean?
Leevje combines two conventional sizes. The piece therefore covers both and fits for longer – a little large at the start, just right towards the end. The size chart helps with placing them.
How is muslin washed correctly?
At 30 °C with similar colours, no bleaching. Muslin gets softer with every wash as long as it is not washed too hot – with three-layer fabric the recommendation to wash as cool as possible is not a detail but the reason the blanket still looks good years later.
Does the day blanket fit a child's bed?
At 180 × 220 cm it is made for an adult bed. On a child's bed it works as a generous throw – and it carries on serving as a sofa blanket in the living room and later in a teenager's room.
