A significant advantage of Merino wool is that it does not scratch. This makes it ideal for sensitive skin. Additionally, the wool is antibacterial and thus helps keep the skin healthy.
Another plus: Merino wool does not need to be washed constantly. It has self-cleaning properties and is perfectly suited for simply enjoying fresh air outdoors. If it does need to be washed, it should be done with gentle hand washing in lukewarm water at a maximum of 30°. It is best to use a special wool detergent for this purpose.
