Frequently asked questions
How do you warm the inner cushion correctly?
Open the zip on the tummy, take out the cushion and warm only that: about half a minute to a minute in the microwave at no more than 600 watts, or three to five minutes in the oven at 75 °C. Always check the temperature against your own hand first.
From what age are the animals suitable?
For cuddling, from the very beginning. As a heat cushion there is a clear limit: not for premature babies and not for children under two months – they can overheat without being able to signal it.
Can the cuddly toys be washed?
With the large models you take out the inner cushion and wash only the cover, cool and gentle. Wool and organic cotton do not tolerate high temperatures – and the less often it is washed, the longer the animal keeps its shape. Airing often helps more than washing.
Small or large – which suits better?
The small animals are meant for grasping, taking along and falling asleep, and they fit in any changing bag. The large ones are cuddle partners for the bed and heat cushions at the same time – but too bulky for the road. If you are giving a gift, the small format is usually the safer bet.
