LIEWOOD DARLA: sunglasses with UV protection for children
Teilen
Why children's eyes need sun protection

The lens of a child's eye is clearer than an adult's and lets through more UV radiation – which is why proper sunglasses are worthwhile, especially when playing outdoors. The DARLA by LIEWOOD offers 100% UV400 protection of category 3 and looks the way children like to wear.
Light and made from recycled material

The frame is made from GRS-certified recycled polycarbonate – light enough to go unnoticed during play, and robust enough for constant putting on and taking off. The spring hinges give way instead of breaking when the glasses get bent.
Polarised lenses against glare

The polarised TAC lenses reduce reflections on water, sand and wet surfaces. At the lake, in the pool and in the snow that is noticeably more pleasant – the eyes squint less and vision stays clear.
Which size for which age?
The DARLA comes in two sizes: for toddlers from 1 to 3 years (12.5 cm long, 12 cm wide) and as DARLA Junior for 4- to 10-year-olds (13 cm long, 14 cm wide). If in doubt, measure your child's head width – glasses that pinch will not be worn. Both sizes come in several colours, matte, glossy or transparent.
You will find all models in the sunglasses collection – and to match, our Summer Vibes. More about the brand in the LIEWOOD portrait, further accessories in the post on stylish accessories for children.
